Our Team - Bob Mott, Jr.

Bob Mott, Jr. is President and CEO of Northstar Management, Inc. (NMI). Mr. Mott has grown the business from its beginning on West Shaw Avenue managing a small handful of properties 29 years ago to a business with over 70 properties. NMI has been located within Woodward Centre, a mid-rise 200,000 square foot office property for the past 26 years. Prior to forming NMI, Mr. Mott worked as a property manager for Manco Abbott, Inc. for two years and worked in real estate sales and leasing the prior 4 years with Gillis Scott & Company, The Gillis Company and Capaco, Inc.

His background encompasses a wide range of properties managed along with several office building and shopping center sales. Career accomplishments include taking over the largest fee management office property in Fresno and earning the CPM® designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and becoming a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Mr. Mott is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and California Association of Realtors. Mr. Mott graduated from the California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Mr. Mott has achieved several notable athletic accomplishments by winning the 1998 mixed doubles 8.0 National Championship in Tennis with his wife Mary as his partner. He also played on the 1984 ASA Men’s Major Division Fast Pitch Softball National Championship team, was a member of the 1984 ISC All World Fast Pitch Softball Team and traveled to New Zealand to play. He also earned a gold medal in the 1985 Olympic Sports Festival.

Mr. Mott also served as the President of the prestigious Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club as well as a board member for 3 years.

In Mr. Mott's spare time he enjoys flying his Cessna 182, working out, BBQ, target shooting and visiting his family in Orange County and Los Angeles. He has been married for 34 years and lives in Clovis, California with his wife Mary. They have two boys, two daughters-in-law and 3 grandkids. Their son, Garrett, is a real estate and construction attorney at Hanson Bridgett in Los Angeles and his wife Lauren is a homemaker. Their second son, Kevin, is a UI/UX specialist at UST Global in Aliso Viejo and his wife, Lauren, is the head athletic trainer at Aliso Niguel High School.
